"Almost like living in a dream."

World Class Ocean Front Golf Hilton Head Island is a romantic beach town located off the coast of South Carolina and has been one of the most popular resort towns on the east coast for quite some time. Hilton Head Island attracts more than 2.5 million visitors every year! People are attracted to the warm beaches and lovely homes. Hilton Head offers elite resorts, numerous attractions, dining and events. Over 30 golf courses are located in the area including a popular stop on the PGA Tour, The MCI Heritage. Additionally, Hilton Head Island offers shopping outlet stores, antique shops and local art galleries. Hilton Head fairways are world famous for their spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, scenic marshes, and maritime forests. There are many public and private golf courses in the area, with a wide variety of golf packages. Greens fees may be a little higher in this prestigious golf community, but well worth the price.

The completion of the Cross Island Parkway, which connects the island′s north and south ends via a 6-mile stretch of toll road, has made living and visiting more enjoyable and is one of the most recent stepping stones in Hilton Head′s development. Construction of the 5.6-mile highway began in February 1995, but its conception dates back to November 1957, when developer Charles Fraser proposed a similar route that also would have connected the north and south ends of Hilton Head Island via a bridge over Broad Creek.

In Hilton Head you will not be disappointed in the restaurants. The dining choices will satisfy all ages and occasions. The seafood is among the finest in the southeast and some of the best in the entire Lowcountry. There are plenty of ethnic restaurants including Mexican, Japanese, Greek, and Italian. Of course, don′t forget about the steak, hamburgers, and even grand breakfasts that serve stacks of scrumptious pancakes.

The beaches are great, and are considered among the world′s most beautiful. At low tide the island′s beaches (approximately 12 miles total) can be up to 600 feet wide. Two of the most popular strands: Coligny Circle (with plenty of public parking) and Folly Field beach at the northern end of the island.
